Scene kinds are really cool. My friend is one and she was telling me about it and I though it was really interesting, cool, and keep me outta trouble. It seems like something I would really be intreasted in. Well thats it I guess
Being scene is being a person all of your own. Being scene means being creative.. Being yourself.. Being unique.. All in all being scene is just being your own colorful, beautiful and amazing person. I live in a place where being scene isn't as common. Words like "freak" and "ridiculous" get thrown around often. People also confuse scene kids with "emo." When things like that happen, and when people start hating on the way you look, and choose to express yourself, you should just shrug it off. They may not be able to accept you, they might think you're weird, or "scary". They may even be jealous. But that just comes with being a scene kid in society. You need to stand up for yourself, and help them realize you're just being yourself, and you're confident in your own skin, with the way you dress, and the way you act. Some people automatically think you're self-absorbed when they see a scene kid. Show them wrong! Scene queens and kings are just themselves and they do have their own personalities. Scene kids are the nicest people you could meet, because lets face it, no one wants to deal with a total jerk. For me, doing my hair and makeup in the mornings are my favorite parts of being scene. With the teasing/back-brushing and hairspray for the hair, and the eyeliner and shadow for the makeup, its honestly fun to do everyday. Scene clothing is the main and most exaggerated part of self expression and uniqueness. From all the bright colors to even the more subtle looks, its always a part of scene, no matter what. The jewelry is also a main part of your daily look because its another way of self expression. From the bracelets to the necklaces, scene kids are always bright! All in all, being scene is a great life style to have, even if it does always have its pros and cons. Even though there are those people who can't accept us, we always know who we are, what we want, and how we choose to express ourselves. After all, those are our rights:) -Nikki Nightfall
This is how I do my hair everyday. First, I get up really early to fix my hair. I start off just brushing it out, because I don't want any tangles in it. Then I clip up the top layer and straighten out the bottom layer. Next, I let down the rest of my hair and straighten it out super good. I don't want any curls left in it. After that, I pin back my bottom layer so it doesn't get in the way of when I tease the top layers. When I tease my hair, I start with the back and try to get it as big and poofy as I can. Then I tease the sides and hairspray it all over. Then, I gentley comb it down so it doesn't stick out all over the place. I do that all over again to make sure it stays all day long. Then there you go, my hair is complete:
I'm Jackieeeeeee i love cuppycakes. i love music. Music is my life. i love makeup. I'm 14.... and tehehe. haiiii :D <3
People always say scene kids are fake. And a lot of people make fun of their hair. But i think scene kids just exspress themselves in a very uniuqe way. I love how pretty and out there some of these scene kids are. I just want to try my hardest to become one. (: -XxReneeRecklessxX
She walks around Talking **** to her mates Calling me poser and freak And maybe a geek She walks on me Like Im her slave Im tired of her talking **** about me Why can't I breathe Im choking myself To leave this life Like a suicide kid I love the kids who take their lives Because no one will help They say Im fat And call me ugly But tell me your story? Why'd you hate on me for no reason? Why'd you yell at me saying a different story? I will scream in pain Well at least try too While it gets tighter and tighter Then my breathing slows and soon stops Goodbye you prep You won this war But I will haunt you forever more...
People say scene kids are what they are not, from the terms "trouble makers" to "attention hogs", we've been degraded beyond all common courtesy. Who we are has now become the standard as to how we act, and the stereotypes are not particularly kind. The problem is, to be quite honest, we're not who they make us out to be, for if they were to take the time to get to know most of us, we are people like everyone else; beautiful in an exotic way on the inside and out. From out teased hair, bright vibrant colors, and the way we wear our eye makeup, we're something new. We're a change, and everyone has troulbe accepting us as we are. They fear the way we express ourselves, and the way we let ourselves be who we want to be. We have no restraints, and we let our imagination roam free to create the passionate person we are on the inside, also be the person we are on the outside. We are loved for who we are, but hated for the shroud they have created. Society once again holds down the greatness, and once again we have created something that is not necessarily accepted.
Hii my name is Jenni Violence aka Jenni Walker. I'm 16 from New Jersey, USA. I love the scene style, I love being scene, I love being able to express myself in my own way. My scene role models are: Jenn Curbstomp, Joy Crucifixion, and Ledamonsterbunny. I first got interested in the scene style when I first discovered Jenn Curbstomp. I love being scene, standing out, and being myself. Haters can hate, and lovers can love. Haters can hate me, and it wont bother me one bit.
Critisism is everywhere, there's no way to escape it. There are always people making fun of you or bringing you down. Some people may not like you, and others will. You should be proud to be different and stand out. Be who you want, it doesnt matter what others think. It's impossible to make everybody around you happy, so do what makes you happy. Don't be too confident and start acting mean yourself, people won't want to talk to you. But if you aren't confident enough, people will walk all over you. You have a personality, but some poeple don't realize that. The word scene comes with so many stereotypical comments. Everyone thinks scene kids are just kids that walk around with teased hair, tight skinny jeans, wear converse, dye their hair, and shop at Hot Topic. They don't realize that there is more to scene than just that. They just see what is on the outside. Scene is a way of life that we choose to go because it makes us happy. It lets you express who you are and how you feel without words. You have feelings, but sometimes you dont want to say them. If you're scene, be proud. Don't let people get to you, because you truly are beautiful, inside and out.
I really hate the word poser. People say that, Scene kids are posers. How can you possibly be a poser if nobody is alike? Being scene does not just mean big hair and Hello Kitty. It means standing out, being confident (not too confident!), and knowing how to express yourself. People tell me all the time that I act like a “White Girl” whatever that means. They probably say it because I listen to rock instead of rap, or because I am more outgoing then the usual “normal” person. But I don’t want to be normal. I want to stand out of the crowd full of practically bald girls who all tried to look like Rihanna and dyed their hair blond. I want to be Tiara, “the girl who has long jet black hair, with platinum blonde chunks and turquoise blue streaks.” I just have to get straight A’s first. And I honestly don’t care if you call me a Furby, or attack me with your glares. I could care less. Being “scene” does NOT mean the same thing as being “emo”. Scene kids are more fashionable and happy. And we’re very in touch with our musical side. I don’t think I could live without my iPod. My definition of scene style is: band tees, skinny jeans, Converse, lots of Hello Kitty and Domo, and mp3 players. And scene kids aren’t mean either. No matter how scary we look. Basically, being scene is a really rad way of being yourself!
Hulloo EveryBoody! Iuliia Here Or RomoonaIvory and i Loove Being scene! cause it expresses the way you want to be, And whoo giives a Sh*t if people don't agree with your look , they can just accept the way you are or walk away, simple as that.Always think Positive about yourself. nothing can make you moore happier to know who you are and just accepting it [ in my opinon :)]
well thats the end of my jabbering *think beautiful , be beautiful <3

Scene it what helps me call my self beautiful pretty nomatter what people sayz about me that scene is to me.(:
In my country, Scene and Emo is a strange style… But whenever they see me they will always say something to us at first on how we dress… Scene is a new style n little people know about it… Well even though what I prefer is that, whenever people says something to you, don’t be mad or anything.. We have our own taste and style and personality !! So I want to tell you about my feeling is that, be who we are, and don’t change anything of us, because that is how we love it….. and my style of what I love is Scene and Emo including Gothic.. Well Scene is the best <3 .. Don’t be afraid of anyone, you are you, and nothing is gonna change… we are perfect in every way. Oh and one more thing… follow your dreams <3 So for this I just want to tell you and including myself that we are independent, and we have our own rights.. If you go somewhere with boy or someone you don’t know, don’t talk… they might be jerks !!!!! Some people think that Scene is wired ? well not wired, its because that they have other taste of style… Scene Rocks, and Scene is cool.. Scene listen to Emocore <3 Metal <3 Rock and Punk Rock <3
I wont ever be walked on. I like who I am, and no one can change that. I am proud of who I am, who I'm friends with, and the life I live. We all see the world different, and I like it from my view. I will confess, that peope hate me for how I look, and how I act. For what I like, and for what I dont like. I like to make things wild, I like to cause a SCENE :)
People oftenly tell me that i should be shamed to be scene and kids at school make fun of me i soon found out that they just wanted to be like me thats why they would make fun of me or hate me i ignore people when they tell me something but i just tell the go fuck yourself.Im scene and proud(:
I'm Alex. I like being unique and different from everyone else. I don't have many friends due to my different style, but I love to just be different than everyone else! I love wearing the heavy makeup and skinny jeans [:
People call me emo people call me goth...But theyre wrong im just me(: Im Skye Im 15 and im far from perfect. I dont have the perfect teeth , and i am a bit strange at times but thats what my friends love about me. Im not trying to be someone else.I love who i am, And nobody can change that(:
I don't walk around claiming to be 'scene.' I am myself and thats all I'll ever be. If I had to be in a category it would be scene, because I tease my hair and wear alot of makeup. I think the scene style is absolutely adorable. You can be who you want and there are no limitations to what you can do.

Well, my article is about cutting scene hair! Begin with washing your hair super clean and wait until it's dry. Brush it out completely. You need a pair of scissors and a razor next (any kind will work). Start by cutting your hair into layers with the scissors. Once you have the amount of layers you want, take the razor and run it along sections of your hair until its a nice choppy look. After, straighten and tease for a funky fresh scene look :3 xX Loli Lullaby
Well im really not sure what to put but i really dont think im scene i love the style and the looks i dont want people to place me under scene im me. I love to make people happy even if im down. But i do change my look around alot but it still looks scene. I want to be on this site because i want to show people that they shouldnt be scared to be themselves.
Scene.... Hmmm..... Well, its all about being unique :> I didn't know about scene until about a year ago and I had been dressing "scene" for about two years! Baha! Yes, I've dealt with the name calling and almost anything someone could throw out at you verbally. But its al right. Everything is worth it. Being scene shows how colourful you are <3 don't let anyone tell you how to dress or who to be. You only live life once, and I'll tell you how you should live it.... WORRY FREE <3 Never take the nasty criticism from people who don't know how to be original. We will all come together and unite! As a big group of hello kitty, gir, zombie, colour-lovers! *high-five!*.... *miss*..... So dont worry and just live your life and be who you want to be! And you are not a stereotype...... you are the epic type! *LAME* Baha! <3 With WUVV!
Hello Im Bextaa and I'm scene, I am a 13 year old from London. I youtube alot to find scene hair and makeup tutorials where i've kind of realized that scene is not just the same style for everyone it is our own style choice.
People say Scene Kids are weird or crazy, I think not! Our own unique style shows people who we are as a person, if we get judged we should only choose to ignore such remark's. Its OUR style and THEIR problem if they don't like it!
I came to be on Oct.5 1995. I stand 5'6'' off the ground. I'm wierd And Random. I cuss way too fucking much. I hate when people crack there knuckles Or spit. If you eat like a 2 year old I WILL smack you. I love my friends! they fuckin rock. Most of em are guys. If you call me a whore/slut/skank/hoe etc i will fucking kill you. I dont smoke, drink, have sex, etc. If you got a problem with that piss off. I love to draw. Tattoos and piercings are the shit And one day i will do yours. I get mad easily But i also forgive easily. I have a hard time making decisions. I talk really fast And say like, like alot. I'm gravitationally challenged. I hate sports/any form of physical movement And I eat alot of junk food. So ya I'm not a walking skeleton. I love giving hugs. I'm a pervert So I will do wierd things to you. I'm nice to everyone thats nice to me. I'll talk to anyone. I must be listening to music at all times. And I hate when religous people preach at me. Just because I don't believe in God doesn't mean I'm a bad person.
No matter where you are, people will criticize you. There will always be someone who doesn't like you; it's impossible to please everyone. You need to learn to embrace your flaws. It's important to know who you are and know what you want. Remember, most people hate because they're jealous or hating makes them feel powerful. Stand out to be confident. Don't ever become scene just to please your peers. Also if you are going to be a scene kid in a place where they are extremely rare, be prepared for the many angry glares and discrimination you will get from other people. However, be careful not to become overconfident. Nobody wants to interact with someone who puts them down or acts like a jerk, but don't let people walk all over you either. You need to know just the right balance. you absolutly shuld be nice. People say scene kids are..... retarded, cuts themselves, wears all black, posers :) scene is not really ur choice you just go into wearing cloths like listening to thos kinds of music in time u just become scene personally i dont say myself as scene i just like there taste some say oh you cant be scene your fat or your ugly i want to prove to them that u can be fat and still be a scene queen and just prove them wrong it doesnt matter and this does look fun :D i would love to be a scene queen ^_^ i am 14 and im pretty awesome XD
Ello:D I'm LayNaLuNaTiC:) I'm a happy outgoing party girl who does nothing but have fun! I'm a 4.0 student and am planning to head out to college. ^_^ Many people hate on me because I'm crazy, random, and pretty well-known on the internet. Soooo Hello SceneQueens.com! Gald to finally be a member:)

When it comes to hair, wowwee, i think of bows, dye, teasing and hairspray,,and lots of it!!!! Wash your hair, then towel dry, and blow dry the rest. Afterwards straighten all yuur hair if you want. There should not be any tangles or knots. Brush hair and even out, so when yuu tease it, it's the way you want it to look. Seperate, the top layer and grab a comb or hair brush and brush towards the roots of yuur hair and use hair spray to hold it in place. Do that repeatedly, until about three-fourth of your is teased. Then brush it down, NOT THE WHOLE WAY DOWN JUST BRUSH ENOUGH SO HAIR IS EVEN AND NOT STICKING UP, unless yuu want it to. Then yuu can accessorize your hair, which is always nice, add bows or brets, or anything yuu like to make your hair look good. Whenever im done accessorizing my hair i always touch up and use hairspray to help with frizziness or static hair. That's the way i do my hair;D
Gah, what to say?? I like to embrace my sceney-ness. The big hair, music, style, attitude, I love it all! Im really all about fitting out, though. Thats why when winter comes around, all the girls who shaved their heads to look like Keri Kilson, are gonna be cold. XD I could really careless about the stuff people say about me. I once got compared to a Firby, lol. I also live in an area where there is only like... one other scene girl, and she doesnt go to my school. But she is the coolest person to know,
People say scene kids are... POSERS. Ugh i hate that word. So what if we want to be different? At least we embrace our unique-ness. Scenies cant possibly be posers because they're all different. Whether your talking about music styles, hair color, or just our personalities. You can never say a scene kid looks like someone else, (Unless they are identical twins. But, bet they would still differ from each other. =) )
how I do my hair/keep it healthy :] when I wash my hair, I use a shampoo/conditioner that hydrates it. when I condition, I only go from mid-shaft down and I only use cold water. [[I also shampoo my hair every other day]] After that, I use a wide-tooth comb to comb it out. I usually don't dry it much but if I do I use paul mitchell super skinny serum same for when I straighten it.
to do my hair I.. 1. Turn my straightener to 430 degrees and clip my top and middle layers up. 2. I put two pumps of the super skinny in and I start straightening. 3. The same for my middle and top layers. 4. To give it volume I use paul mitchell hair wax as I slightly tease the top layers. 5. Once I tease it, I put all the hair in place and make sure none of the teasing mess is really showing. 6. After that, I check if there is any hair that needs more straightening and fix all that. 7. If I'm in the right mood i'll put a bow in. ^^
side note- I like to give my hair a rest from all the product, teasing, and heat. so on weekend I try not to style it much unless I'm going somewhere or taking pictures.
I'm Clarity Chaos, and being scene is a hard lifestyle to maintain. With all the criticism about scene kids it's hard to be one. Being scene is all about being yourself and being unique. Most people think scene kids are either conceited or mean. Scene kids are all about being nice to everyone. So if you're the one who everyone avoids because they're afraid of you, I'd consider changing your ways. Being a scene kid where I live is extremely hard. You get mean looks, and it always leads to the words "freak" and "ridiculous." I know this because, I'm a scene kid in a place where scene isn't particularly accepted. I've had scene friends who've changed their ways and turned into normal people, because they couldn't take the teasing and the mean looks. I've been scene for a while now, and I will continue to be scene. I have my own beliefs and strongly believe in them. Even if people don't accept the way you are, you need to ignore the jealousy of others, and just ultimately be yourself. If you change the way you are for others, you shouldn't be scene in the first place. You can't make everyone happy. So you might as well make yourself happy. I'd be an honor to get on this site and be a "Scene Queen." Thanks. <3 Clarity Chaos
well, i'm amanda justice. i'm 13. i love to take pictures of photography. i think scene people are very pretty and you can't just judge them by their outer appearance. i love to draw and i play the piano. i experiment on doing my hair or makeup and i love to listen to metal. my favorite color is blue! and i LOVE huskies and i like animals! (:
I'm only just a girl:) I love to have fun, i'm not the kind of spoiled snob girl that gets everything she points at. I can be stubborn at times, and i am dreaming big in the future. i'm not sure about how i look but this will certainly help me figure it out. I'll stay strong no matter what kind of haters i have, so..yeah. I'm wild and crazy. I love to experiment with stuff, like makeup, and hair. I have never dyed my hair..I haven't thought about it because it'll just ruin my hair :/
I don't look at myself as *sexy, hot, pretty* i look at myself a little more normally. I don't really like how i look, i could change a few things. But as i looked on this website i look a bit like some of them. I guess no one has anything perfect :) and i guess thats just a good thing.
When i pick a guy, i think about the personality. The same for my friends. I don't have totally beautiful friends that are mean. I have normal looking friends that are actually nice and fun to be around.
So i hope i can get in here :) from ME
Scene is a look. It defines the way u r in ur own taste. Whereever you r there will b ppl that wont like u. however u wnt pleaz every1.
